Day 1Paris

Upon arrival in Paris Check into your hotel. The balance of the day is at leisure to explore the city on your own.

Day 2Paris

Today your morning city tour features the Arc de Triomphe, Opera House, Madeleine, Louvre Museum, Champs-Elysees, and Notre Dame Cathedral. For the balance of the day, there are optional Seine cruises with Bateaux Parisiens. Or for a panoramic view, you may also take an elevator to the third floor of the Eiffel Tower. There is so much to see and do in Paris, a city so aptly called the City of Lights, where exciting evening outings are a must.

Note: Note: Due to recent fire destruction at the Notre Dame Cathedral, visit to this site in not included and tour participants will now have free time. (B)

Day 3Paris

Enjoy a free day for independent exploration or perhaps participate in an exciting optional excursion to Versailles and Normandy. In the evening, feel free to join an optional cruise along the Seine River, enjoying spectacular views of its monuments illuminated with millions of lights. (B)

Day 4Paris - Rome

Morning transfer to the airport in Paris for your flight to Rome. Upon arrival in Rome transfer to your hotel and balance of the day is at leisure to explore on your own. (B)

Day 5Rome

This morning enjoy your tour of the heart of Rome: Spanish Steps, Navona Square, People’s Square, and the Pantheon, the Italian Parliament and the fascinating narrow streets of ancient Rome. You will drive through Via Cavour, crossing Piazza della Repubblica with the Fountain of the Nayads before strolling through the historical center, where you can admire the Trevi Fountain, the Colonna of Marco Aurelio, Palazzo di Montecitorio, designed by Bernini, the Pantheon (visit inside), Palazzo Madama – seat of the senate, and Piazza Navona. Passing alongside Castel S. Angelo our coach will take you to St. Peter’s Basilica for a visit, where you can admire one of Michelangelo’s magnificent works of art – “La Pietà”. Your afternoon is free to for independent exploration. (B)

Day 6 Rome

Today is at leisure to discover Rome on your own or take advantage of an optional tour of the Vatican Museums, or an excursion to Pompeii and Capri. (B)

Day 7Rome - Florence

Board your first class rail transfer from Rome to Florence. Check -in at your hotel and balance of the day is at leisure on your own. (B)

Day 8Florence

Enjoy a panoramic tour of Florence with highlights along the romantic Viale dei Colli up to Piazzale Michelangelo with its splendid views of the domes and red-tiled roofs of the city. The tour continues with a visit of the “Academia Delle Belle Arti” to admire one of the most famous works of art in the world, the “David of Michelangelo”. Afterwards, visit the Cathedral complex with Brunelleschi’s wonderful Cupola (dome), the Giotto’s Bell Tower, and the Baptistery with its exquisite golden doors. The balance of the day is free to explore local shops and boutiques. (B)

Day 9Florence

Today is free to explore on your own. Many optional tours are available to get acquainted with the Tuscany region. (B)

Day 10Florence - Venice

Board your first class rail transfer to Venice. The balance of the day is on your own. (B)

Day 11Venice

Today enjoy your walking tour of Venice to the Golden Basilica of St. Mark and the Doge’s Palace decorated by big artists such as Titian and Tintoretto. Afterwards, view of the Bridge of Sighs and Piombi Prisons. The remainder of the day is free. (B)

Day 12Venice

Your tour ends today. Return to the airport for your flight home. (B)
