Day 1Athens

Arrival in Athens check into your selected hotel. Balance of the day at leisure.

Day 2Athens

After breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel, and you will be led to a guided Athens sightseeing tour tour to the House of Parliament, the Unknown Soldier’s Tomb, Hadrian’s Arch, the Olympian Zeus Temple, the Panathenaic Stadium, the Academy, the University and the National Library. Balance of the day at leisure. (B)

Day 3Athens - Cairo

Transfer to the airport and depart for Cairo. Arrival and transfer to your selected hotel. Balance of the day at leisure. (B)

Day 4Cairo

Full day Cairo sightseeing tour with lunch visiting the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx and the Valley of the Temple. Visit the Egyptian Museum, where the treasure of Tut-Ankh-Amon is exhibited. Final stop at the old Cairo at the Mosque of Mohamed Aly and the Citadel of Salah el Din. (B,L)

Day 5Cairo - Luxor

Transfer to the airport, early in the morning and depart for Luxor. Arrival and transfer to the port for the Nile cruise. After lunch, visit the east Bank of the Nile, starting with Karnak temple built in 2000 B.C. for Amoun-Ra. thanks to its containing 22 temples, it is the biggest temple in Egypt. Visit the Luxor temple, built in 1450 B.C. by Aminophis and Ramses II. (B,L)

Day 6Luxor - Edfu

Sailing to the West Bank with a visit to the Valley of the kings with the tombs of the modern dynasty of the kings (1550-830 B.C.), such as that of tut ankh amoun as well as the sarcophagus discovered by the English Egyptologist Howard Carter. You will also find the coffin of Queen Hatchepsut which was carved in the mountain, in about 1450 B.C. the tour ends with a visit to the Colossi of Memnoon and the two statues of king Amenophis. Sailing to Edfu, overnight on board. (B)

Day 7Edfu - Kom Ombo - Aswan

Sightseeing at the temple of god Horus, which was built during 237- 57 B.C. and is considered to be a perfect representation of the ancient Egyptian civilization. Sail to Kom Ombo, visit the Temple of God Sobek and God Horaris. Sailing to Aswan, overnight on board. (B)

Day 8Aswan

Sailing on a traditional wooden boat called felucca around the Botanical, Elephantine island and the Mausoleum of Agha Khan. (B)

Day 9Aswan - Cairo

Leave the ship after breakfast for a visit to the High Dam and Aswan Dam, the unfinished Obelisk and Temple of Philae. You may select an optional excursion by plane to visit Abu Simbel temples. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Cairo. Arrival and transfer to your hotel. (B)

Day 10Cairo - Athens

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Athens. Arrival and transfer to your selected hotel in Athens. (B)

Day 11Athens - Mykonos

Early in the morning transfer to Piraeus port to embark for the 4-night cruise. First stop Mykonos, an island known for its fantastic sandy beaches, its vivid nightlife, Little Venice and famous windmills. (B)

Day 12Kusadasi (turkey) - Patmos

Next port of call is the Turkish port of Kusadasi with the option to visit Ephesus, one of the most complete ancient cities ever excavated. Then, on to the island of Patmos, where participating in the optional tour, you will have the opportunity to visit the Monastery & St. John’s Grotto where he lived and wrote the book of Revelation. (B)

Day 13Rhodes

Early morning arrival in the magnificent island of the roses situated in the southeastern part of the Mediterranean Sea. Rhodes island is visited by hundreds of tourists every year since it offers a combination of great historical sites, marvelous beaches, a vivid nightlife and great shopping areas. By participating in one of the optional tours you will be able to visit the medieval city and the famous Lindos Acropolis. (B)

Day 14Heraklion (crete) - Santorini

Next port of call is the Cretan port of Heraklion. Don’t miss the opportunity to participate in the optional tour to the Knossos Palace, the center of the Minoan Civilization. Departure from Crete and arrival in Santorini Santorini in the afternoon, the island which is said to be the lost continent of the Atlantis. Disembarkation and transfer to your selected hotel. (B)

Day 15Atenas (lavrio) - Athens

Arrival at Piraeus port early in the morning. Disembarkation after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your departure flight. (B)
